What would the U.S. do if the U.K. left the E.U. Now thats a Polandball I want to see. The U.S. have been talking the U.K. to stay in, but us in the U.K. are fed up of having our laws superceded by the E.U. We can't even send terrorists back to their own country after serving their jail time as it would infringe their human rights to send them back as they may face retribution.
FYI thanks for taking Hamza (the hook) off our hands, which took many years because of the E.U. to extradite him to the U.S. and millions of pounds of tax payers money (to keep him while trying to get rid of him). But he's your problem now and you can send him back to Jordan after any served jail time.

I'm torn between "Is he serious?" and "Is he joking?". I don't know much about how the E.U. works or the U.K. in general (other than I want to get stationed in England next) but it seems like you may have some gripes.

I have a few gripes yes. Lol. Its one thing dealing with our own 'would be terrorists' but not being able to get rid of non U.K. National terrorists is appalling. The European Court of Human Rights wanted assurances that the U.S. would treat him humanely and keot fighting and appealing every turn to extradite him.
What force are you? I'm assuming air force.
Your more than welcome to come to the U.K. most USAF (USAFE) bases are in the south east with RAF Menwith Hill being in Yorkshire. There are a few subtle differences from the U.S. other than the fact we drive on the correct side and not the right side. But your liaison officer will give you a pack and advise you closer to the time and help you get settled in. Generally we in the U.K. are a happy-go-lucky bunch. Sometimes we get our skirts in a bunch about something then say 'hey-ho' and nget on with it.
If you do manage to get stationed here, I'll say it now in case I don't get to nearer the time, Welcome to the U.K. mate its always nice to see family.

I am Air Force. The wife and I have been looking into RAF Lakenheath or RAF Croughton. Heard great things about both of them. And what do you mean we drive on the wrong side of the road? It's called the "right" side for a reason! Ha ha.

Haha. You'll find I wrote "we drive on the correct side and not the right side". I didn't say it was wrong (cough, it is, cough). Ahem, clear my throat there. :)
I think you'll enjoy RAF Lakenheath. Some good guys at Lakenheath and Mildenhall.
